Code Green Networks offers two tightly integrated solutions for delivering DLP-based email encryption with ZixCorp. With both integrated solutions, a Code Green Content Inspection Appliance is deployed at the organization’s Internet gateway to inspect all network traffic and enforce policy based encryption on outgoing email.

The CI-Appliance can either be paired with a ZixVPM (Virtual Private Messenger) email encryption appliance also located at the customer site, or it can be integrated with the hosted ZixCorp Email Encryption Service. With both integrations, the connection between the Code Green CI-Appliance and the ZixCorp network is over a secure channel encrypted with TLS (Transport Layer Security), ensuring secure communication from the point the email leaves the customer network.

On the endpoint, CI Agents offers automatic encryption of sensitive content copied to removable media, so that data copied to USB storage devices or CD/DVDs is kept secure.
