Through proprietary fingerprinting technology Code Green Networks is able to recognize and register a wide variety of both structured (fields in databases or columns in spreadsheets) and unstructured data (document formats such as Microsoft Office, source code and PDF files) eliminating the high false positives and false negatives plagued in other DLP solutions.

Data Element Fingerprinting is a highly accurate technique that ensures minimal false positives allowing organizations to fingerprint the exact confidential data or personal information to be protected, rather than relying simply on pattern matching or keyword techniques for identification of potential sensitive content (as most DLP vendors provide).

Deep Content Fingerprinting is a proprietary technique that consists of a series of sliding hashes that are mathematically reduced to uniquely represent a document and all of its constituent parts.
