Once deployed, the appliances monitor electronic communications across all Internet communications channels and enforce corporate policies related to customer information and intellectual property, ensuring auditing and compliance with privacy and discovery regulations such as:
- CA (California) SB 1386 and similar data privacy laws in 35 other US states
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance on protecting personal information
- Gramm-Leach Bliley Act for financial institutions
