Code Green Networks and PGP Corporation Sign Agreement to Integrate Content Protection and Email Encryption
SANTA CLARA, CA – January 16, 2007 – Code Green Networks, a leading developer of solutions for protecting customer data and intellectual property, today announced that it has signed an alliance agreement with PGP Corporation, a global leader in enterprise data security and encryption solutions, to deliver a comprehensive content protection and secure email solution.
“Organizations must comply with a growing number of data protection regulations, both local and global, while considering increasingly stringent non-compliance penalties,” said Alex Doll, vice president of business development at PGP Corporation. “With this combined solution, Code Green Networks customers can choose to stop unauthorized email traffic or, by incorporating the PGP Encryption Platform, encrypt sensitive content before it leaves their organization.”
The Code Green Networks Content Inspection Appliance 1500 (CI-1500) monitors content flows on the network and automatically enforces content protection policies. The appliance-based solution includes integrated support for the PGP Encryption Platform. If the Content Inspection Appliance detects the unauthorized transmission of sensitive information, it invokes a management-defined policy to log, alert, block, or quarantine the message. If it detects an authorized transmission that contains sensitive content, it can automatically re-route the message to the PGP Encryption Platform for encryption and secure transmission.
“As leading innovators in content protection and email security, Code Green Networks and PGP Corporation together are uniquely positioned to deliver comprehensive, yet accessible solutions to the SMB market,” said Sreekanth Ravi, chairman and chief executive officer at Code Green Networks. “While performance and reliability are of the utmost importance, smaller organizations also require solutions that are affordable and easy to maintain. This combined, turnkey solution meets all of these requirements.”
This solution is available today from Code Green Networks and PGP Corporation. For more information, please visit: www.codegreennetworks.com.
