Code Green Networks Announces Suite of TrueDLP™ Data Loss Prevention Assessment Services

New Service Offerings Quickly Identify Data Loss Risk at Healthcare, Credit Union, and Financial Services Organizations

SUNNYVALE, CA, April 21, 2009–Code Green Networks, the leader in comprehensive data loss prevention solutions that can be deployed quickly and cost-effectively, today announced a new suite of assessment services designed to identify the risk of data loss for healthcare, credit union, and financial services organizations.

The privacy and security of sensitive corporate data is a top concern for most organizations, but assessing the level of risk that this data might be exposed is often a daunting and time-consuming task. With numerous sources of sensitive data and a multitude of regulations and corporate policies to consider, even deciding where to begin is often a significant challenge.

The Code Green Networks Data Loss Prevention Assessment Services offer a pre-packaged, five-step approach to quickly identifying data loss risks at healthcare, credit union, and financial services organizations:

  1. A Code Green TrueDLP appliance, preconfigured to identify specific data loss risks associated with your industry, is installed passively on the corporate network
  2. Sensitive data from internal databases, fileservers, or content management systems are securely registered with the appliance
  3. The Code Green appliance monitors the network for up to 10 days, collecting details on data loss incidents
  4. At the end of the monitoring period, a qualified Code Green or approved partner technician arrives on-site to collect and analyze the discovered incident details
  5. A detailed professional report is generated regarding the incidents and subsequent threat of data loss to your organization.  Finally, the Code Green appliance is reset to factory defaults and removed from the network.

"A very common theme among our customers and prospects is a need to quickly determine whether or not they have a significant risk of data loss and if an investment in a new security solution like DLP will be cost-effective for them," said Rod Murchison, vice president of marketing and strategic alliances for Code Green Networks.  "With the Code Green Networks Data Loss Prevention Assessment Services, organizations can make this determination without significant expense or commitment, and learn a great deal about the flow of sensitive data throughout their network in the process."

The Code Green Networks Data Loss Prevention Assessment Service packages for healthcare, credit union, and financial services organizations are available today starting at $10,000.
