Code Green Networks TrueDLP - Overall test winner and “Best Buy” for network data leakage prevention

Venerable IT security source SC Magazine, which publishes in print and online in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, last week awarded Code Green Networks TrueDLP its “Best Buy” award.

In its review, posted May 3, the magazine’s review team described TrueDLP as an “all-in-one appliance which includes all the necessary network DLP features.” The review gave TrueDLP five stars across the board, noting full functionality, ease of use, performance, documentation, support, and value for money.

Approximately a year ago, Cascade Healthcare Community Inc. hired CynergisTek Inc., an independent security consulting firm, to do a baseline risk assessment. Cynergistek used Code Green Networks Inc.'s TrueDLP for Healthcare platform to scan Cascade's databases, monitor outgoing transmissions and identify any data, such as patient information, that was not being adequately protected.

The results of that assessment convinced Cascade's CIO to purchase and deploy Code Green's data loss prevention solution internally, as a means of monitoring and enforcing security policies organization wide.

Code Green's Content Inspector was the easiest product to configure and write rules for. The rule language is simple and the graphical interface is very usable. Code Green breaks rule creation down into two categories: data and policy. One defines data to be blocked using a variety of tools, and then configures a policy to check for it. This was very straightforward and easy to change, with no need to restart the device or reload the settings. In the configuration simplicity arena, Code Green goes above and beyond all the other products.
