Regional Sales Director
Chicago, IL

Code Green Networks is seeking a proven IT Security Sales professional in Chicago to accelerate its growth and firmly establish Code Green Networks as the market leader in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security solutions.

Responsibilities: The Regional Sales Director is responsible for all sales activities from lead follow-up through close in this assigned territory. In this role, he/she will:

  • Develop and implement a Regional Sales Plan to meet defined business goals of revenue generation and expansion of the customer base in the assigned territory
  • Work seamlessly with Channel partners and customers to effectively position Code Green Networks as the preferred DLP solution by demonstrating a strong understanding of the business issues and technical requirements that will drive a sale to closure
  • Create and develop strong relationships at all levels within target customer and Channel partner organizations from IT staff to C-level executives
  • Active hunt for new opportunities to drive revenue. Understands the importance of building the sales pipeline and is very comfortable selling at the executive level
  • Maximize region’s potential by maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, using Salesforce.com
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to marketing and product management on market trends, competition and product requirements

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years sales experience with security products or networking technology and a proven track record of sales success in direct sales and channel environment
  • Tenacity and personal motivation to build a territory from the ground up and rapidly deliver results - start-up company experience a plus
  • Strong combination of business acumen and technical knowledge with Enterprise/Solutions Sales expertise
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate value proposition and key differentiators
  • Quick learner – ability to rapidly develop a deep understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Knows the Network Security market
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and other documentation authoring tools
  • Prior experience in networking and/or Enterprise security product documentation required
  • Familiarity to Data Leakage Protection (DLP) security area, a definite plus
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix OS platforms and Graphical User Interface (GUI) specifications and process flows
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely and accurately, translating technical information into simple-to-understand English
  • Experience producing user manuals, system documentation, online Help, web-related content, technical marketing materials, documentation plans and design description
  • Experience in analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of technical instructional materials
  • Ability to work efficiently, either independently or on a team with minimal supervision


Senior Technical Support Engineer
Sunnyvale, CA

Code Green Networks is seeking a talented Senior Technical Support Engineer who possess great customer relationship skills combined with in depth technical knowledge (network/mail security). You’ll be able to fully utilize your expertise in customer service management; analytical thinking, structured problem solving and application support, and make a significant contribution to the success of our customers. This individual will be involved in 2 Tier Technical Support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Facilite resolution of technical issues with Engineering
  • Support OEM customers by collaborating on tech notes, know base articles, FAQs and other materials
  • Collect and document customer requirements for the Product Management team
  • Travel as required to support high value customers

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in technical support or pre-sales technical support, as Sales Engineer or equivalent
  • BS in computer science or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in system administration (Linux preferred) or network security
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Strong customer skills--composed in a role that is customer facing
  • Comfortable working with channel and OEM partners
  • Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving skills
  • Passionate about service delivery, customer support and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively deliver in impromptu and spontaneous situations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work effectively in an early-stage company environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementing IDS, Email Security, and Web Proxy technologies
  • Knowledge of Java, and C/C++
  • Knowledge of Linux scripting languages (bash, python, perl)

Senior Software QA Engineer
Sunnyvale, CA

Code Green Networks is seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of our enterprise class security product-line. QA Engineers work with other developers and support engineers to develop test plans and cases for new features, as well as maintaining and expanding upon the existing test automation infrastructure.

Requirments:

  • 4+ years of enterprise class QA experience
  • 1+ yrs of QA experience with security software application or security appliances (i.e. DLP, firewall, anti virus, anti spam, intrusion detection/prevention)
  • Experience with both Linux/Unix and Windows environments
  • Experience in developing automated test script and test harness using commercial or open-source tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, in gathering information and communicating direction.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in using one or more scripting/programming languages (i.e. Ruby, PERL, Java)
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in WebUI test automation development using Selenium or other open source tools
  • Experience to in network performance testing using IXIA or other open source tools

Senior Software Engineer
Sunnyvale, CA

Code Green Networks is seeking a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to be responsible for the research, design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of system software. The scope of the position will include developing and maintaining software modules in a Data Leak Prevention appliance. You will be responsible for strategic and tactical product initiatives, contributing to both new development and sustaining engineering activities. You should have a high level of engineering proficiency, a goal-driven attitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's in Computer Science or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience
  • 3+ Years experience in software design and implementation and debugging of networking and related systems
  • Very strong C and C++ programming skills
  • Experience developing for Linux or other UNIX-like operating systems
  • Experience designing scalable multi-thread/multi-process software architectures
  • Interprocess communications using RPC

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Networking protocols HTTP, SMTP, FTP, ICAP, IM and TCP/IP
  • Experience with proxy or protocol analysis or intrusion detection
  • Relational Databases and SQL
  • Linux File Systems and distributed file systems in general such as Venti
  • Experience with hardware RAID
  • Distributed DNS and OpenSSL
